The hours (who am I kidding? days, really!) spent planning where to eat, what to eat, meals I plan to cook is mystifying & truly awe worthy.
With 3,000 restaurants to choose from in San Francisco alone, I am on the never ending quest for the next great find & don't even get me started on the delectable array of farmer's markets around the city, the Cheese Shop on Polk, cooking classes at Real Food, meats at Guerra's, oysters at Hog Island in Tamales Bay & endless other options for cooking at home or packing up a picnic!
Obviously, the genius inventor of spanx was all too familiar with the SF food scene!
Perfect timing for Marcia Gagliardi to debut her fun book "the tablehopper's guide to dining & drinking in san fransisco".
The only thing better than her witty delicious tips was meeting the equally hilarious author at the Golden Glass event at Fort Mason.
Kudos to "well read = well fed"!
Italian at Beretta for GNO (Girls Night Out: the ultimate for swish cocktails & food fun with the gals) is perfect setting for catching up on the good, the bad & the funny in life & love over coppa pizza, fennel & arugula salads, decadent Sunday brunch at WaterBar on the water indulging in oysters & Albarino while strategizing on latest career dreams & plans, or at the very least, what to have for brunch, my choice: huevos rancheros with spicy shrimp.
The options are as endless as my appetite for trying all of them...Bon Appetit' Bay Area!
